Kick-off event in YFU France

On the 19th of June, YFU's France volunteers got together to promptly kick off the celebrations for the association’s 70th Anniversary.
The guests, divided into four teams, went through rounds of games on the platform Kumospace. From geography to a YFU quiz, without forgetting a blind test based on iconic French quotes from movies, tv ads or political figures, the guests were able to test their general knowledge of the world and YFU’s culture.
All in all, the event was a lovely evening, allowing everyone to mark the beginning of the official celebrations. It was great for dedicated volunteers to be able to come together in the confident hope of being able to do so in real life soon.
To conclude the evening, Carole Andrieu, a leading member of the Comity of Projects was pleased to announce the launch of “Le festival des belles histoires YFU” (“The YFU’s festival of great stories”). “During the course of the summer, YFU Volunteers will send us their creations telling their great stories. By the end the year, the festival will be held and awards will be received.”
