Host Family of the Month: Mario Vallejos and Patricia García

The Vallejos García family has been part of YFU Paraguay since 2019, opening both their home and their hearts to young people from different parts of the world. Over the years, they have welcomed both community service volunteers and high school exchange students, always supporting them with great care and kindness.

In addition to being a host family, they have also been there whenever needed most. So far, they have hosted more than five young people, leaving a very special mark on each of them. What makes the Vallejos García family truly unique is their warmth and the genuine way they make every student feel like part of the family from the moment they arrive.

This year, their youngest son will go on exchange to Germany and will live with the family of the very first volunteer they hosted back in 2019, showing how exchange creates bonds that go beyond borders and generations.

Without a doubt, they deserve to be recognized for their generosity, commitment, and for always being willing to open their home to the world.
