YFU Statement on the Earthquake in Turkey and Syria

A devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria has shocked us all in the past days. Our thoughts are with those affected by this disaster. YFU Turkey confirms that all program participants, volunteers, their immediate families and natural parents are safe. YFU has no participants hosted in Syria.

Our condolences go out to those people in our global community who have lost relatives and friends in this catastrophe. As we express our solidarity with the people of Turkey and Syria, we encourage the global YFU community to support the affected areas through disaster aid organizations.
