Volunteer of the Month: Antonino Zavattero

Since returning from his exchange year in 2017, Antonino has become one of the most dedicated and influential volunteers in YFU Argentina. Over the years, he has taken on an impressive range of roles, contributing his time, expertise, and passion to nearly every aspect of the organization.

Antonino has led the Colored Glasses group, served as one of YFU Argentina’s most active orientation facilitators, and played a key role in both the Scholarships Committee and the organization’s newly established Advisory Board.

As the leader of the Trainers Group and YFU Argentina’s most experienced trainer, he has helped prepare and inspire countless volunteers, many of whom received their first training directly from him.

His impact extends to some of YFU Argentina’s largest and most important events. Antonino has led PAOPEX, the organization’s biggest annual event, bringing together more than 100 participants, on multiple occasions demonstrating exceptional leadership and organizational skills.

Beyond his many titles and responsibilities, Antonino’s influence can be seen throughout the organization. His professionalism, commitment, and collaborative spirit have helped shape the culture of YFU Argentina, setting a standard for volunteers across the country.

Through his dedication, he has become not only a leader but also a mentor and role model for an entire generation of YFU volunteers.
